Pre-Order:
This year we have multiple proteins available to pre-order for your holiday meal (Turkey, Duck, Salmon, Beef Roast, and Honey Ham). Pre-Orders are like a reservation and are on a first come, first serve basis. We recommend ordering sooner than later as there is limited stock for certain items. You can place your order through our online shop or here in the store. Pro Tip! Reserving your proteins in advance gains you access to a discounted per/lbs pricing that is not available off the shelf!
Pick Up:
All protein items will be on-site and ready for pickup starting Saturday, November 22nd. Please pick up no later than Wednesday, November 26th by store closing time at 7pm. When you arrive, please notify a clerk that you’re picking up your pre-order. Then feel free to do a bit of shopping and by the time you get to checkout your item will be up front waiting for you.
Payment:
Payment is required at pick-up. All protein items are priced by the pound and your final price will be determined at checkout based on the actual weight of the product. Pro Tip! Reserving your proteins in advance gains you access to a discounted per/lbs price that is not available off the shelf!
Preparation:
If you need more recipes and ideas for your meal we highly recommend America’s Test Kitchen - Best Recipes for Your Thanksgiving Meal. Turkeys will be kept in our walk in refrigeration unit before going home with you. Several of the protein items available will be frozen at pick-up. Please allow for ample time to defrost and prep your protein before attempting to cook.
Mary's Organic Turkeys are fresh, never frozen. The USDA definition of fresh allows for some crusty ice on the outside layers of the bird.
Tailfeather Farm Turkeys will be arriving and be stored in a frozen state. Please pick-up early enough to allow for the thawing process.
Katfish Sockeye Salmon will be stored in a frozen state, but it doesn’t take long to thaw.
SpringRain Farm Ducks will be stored in a frozen state. Please pick-up early enough to allow for the thawing process.
One Straw Ranch Roast Beef will be stored in a frozen state. Please pick-up early enough to allow for the thawing process.
Hempler’s Honey Ham will be stored in a frozen state. Please pick-up early enough to allow for the thawing process.
