GROCERY BUYER LEVEL 2 or 3
We have a rare opportunity for a BUYER LEVEL II or III to join the Corner Grocery Team! Our buyers curate our tasty selection of grocery items, and each has responsibility over assigned departments. The buyers work as a close-knit team, support each other in managing their sets and inventory, and collaborate with the stocking team to keep the grocery floor full and abundant.
The person we seek has excellent decision-making abilities, quickly interprets reports and data, maintains accurate inventory management and effective merchandising, and has a deep appreciation for local food systems. Wholesale buying experience is preferred. Intermediate experience with Microsoft office programs preferred. Daily responsibilities include receiving and stocking their sets, reviewing sales and inventory data, placing orders online and via phone, working with vendors and teammates, and assisting the clerks as needed. Depending on experience and qualifications, the position will be filled as a Grocery Buyer Level II (wage range $21.00-$25.60) or Grocery Buyer Level III (wage range $24.00-$29.26). This is a full time position, 4 days per week, 32-40 hours per week. Schedule will include one weekend day. KITCHEN PRODUCTION MANAGER
We’re looking for an experienced KITCHEN PRODUCTION MANAGER to lead the Corner Kitchen Team in producing the selection of prepared foods offered in our retail store environment. This is a hands-on leadership position where significant time will be spent preparing food and supporting the team in reaching production goals. Duties include generating prep and production lists, prioritizing and delegating work for the team, establishing and upholding systems and protocols, staff training and development, and maintaining CCF quality standards.
The person we seek has commercial or production kitchen experience; knowledge of cooking and/or baking methods, natural ingredients, and alternatives for a variety of dietary needs; knowledge of kitchen sanitation, food safety, food storage and labeling protocols; experience in leadership roles supporting strong team cohesion; and strong written and verbal communication. This position is great for someone with a deep passion for local food systems, nourishing our community, and supporting the incredible bounty of local farms and farmers here in the valley.
This is a full time position, 4-5 days per week, 32-40 hours per week. The wage range is $24.00-$29.26 depending on experience. Schedules may include one weekend day. Benefits include medical, vision, and dental insurance, paid time off, employee discounts, profit-sharing and EAP.

KITCHEN PREP COOK
We’re hiring a PREP COOK. Come join the Corner Kitchen’s culinary team in preparing fresh, local, and organic food for the community. The Corner Kitchen team creates our full lineup of grab-and-go items, including sandwiches, salads, and wraps, made fresh every day. Duties include efficient prep, production, and clean up. Important skills for this role include experience in a commercial or production kitchen, an awareness of kitchen equipment use and care, the ability to measure ingredients accurately with volume and weight measurements, basic knife handling skills, the ability to comprehend and follow a written recipe, excellent communication skills, and the desire to contribute to strong team cohesion.
This is a part time position, 21-28 hours per week, including one weekend day. Shifts start in the early a.m. Positions generally start at $18.25 in a wage range of $18.25- $22.25, depending on experience. Part time benefits include great employee discounts, profit sharing, dental and vision insurance, EAP, Paid Time Off, and free coffee and tea during work shifts.
